Toyota Avensis is a mid-size car produced between 1997 and 2018. Its predecessor was the Toyota Carina E, available in Europe from 1992. The second-generation Avensis (T25) arrived in early 2003 with a new design and major improvements to driver comfort and visual appeal. Its design, along with that of the Toyota Corolla, was developed in a French design studio.
